3D model of a heavy duty axle with driveshaft, brakes & suspension.

The axle has been extensively detailed for close range shots.

The model was created with 3DS Max 2016 using the open subdivision modifier which has been left in the stack to adjust the level of detail.

There are also included HI & LO poly versions in Blender 2.9 format with textures.

Exchange files included: FBX, OBJ & 3DS, all with HI & LO subdivision versions.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The model has 13.600 polygons with subdivision level at 0 & 54.500 at level 1.

Elements are logically named & grouped so they can be separated to adjust to your needs.

The model contains quads & tris (no N-gons).

Scale/transform is set to 100%, units are set to centimeters, texture paths are stripped & and it is made to real world scale.

PRESENTATION:

Renders were made in 3DSMax with V Ray & Blender with Cycles & have no post processing.

Product is ready to render out of the box only in 3DSMax & Blender.

Lights & cameras are not included.

MATERIALS & TEXTURES:

The model is fully textured & UV mapped with diffuse, bump, roughness & specular maps.

All materials & textures are included & mapped in all files but they will render like the preview images only in 3DSMax & Blender versions with V-Ray & Cycles respectively, in the rest of the files they might have to be adjusted depending on the software you are using.

Textures are in JPG format with 4096×4096 resolution.

USAGE:

This model is suitable for design visualization, broadcast, forensic presentation, technical demonstrations, etc.
