REQUIREMENTS: Max 2016 + SP3 +Extension 1/2, Max 2017 (for 2018 please read below carefully)

Installation: Scripting, Install Max Creation Graph…

This MCG will curl a Spline, multi curve splines.

Works with both Max 2016 & 2017, although in 2017 you’ll get deprecation messages, it will still compile & run.

Please note: This MCG works with Max 2018, however, due to incorrect auto-conversion in Max 2018, the Official Installation procedures will fail. I have no control over this, it is Autodesk’s fault.

To get it to work with 2018: (close Max)

01) extract file Vu_CurlASpline.mcg

02) rename Vu_CurlASpline.mcg to Vu_CurlASpline.zip (yes I know this is a bit confusing)

03) from Vu_CurlASpline.zip, extract all (including subfolders) to:

C:/Users/yourusername/Autodesk/3ds Max 2018/Max Creation Graph/Tools

Open Max 2018, tool can be found in CreateShapesVu

So it works fine with 2018, it is simply the Official Installation process that is faulty.

Ver 1.20: added Curl Axis so now you can curl vertically (Y axis) or flat (Z Axis
