Description: Black & Gilt: Pattern Brushes Add-on
A shining set of 20 Chinese borders in black & gilt carefully recreated from antique artworks. Again, we aimed at creating a collection that strictly follows the original designs’ geometry & character.
The borders are provided as editable Illustrator pattern brushes (to be applied as stroke to any path), as well as tileable border graphics (straight segments) in vector & raster formats.
Each design (brush & graphics) is available in 2 versions: color (with background), & b&w (transparent).
Note: Textures & mockups in the presentation images are NOT included in this set.
FLEXIBILITY
Use the readily available brushes OR experiment by stacking the borders as seamless patterns. (Link to user-guide provided below.)
Vector formats: lossless scaling; customization of colors, strokes, or geometry;
PSD: separate layer for each color.
Note: The Illustrator pattern brushes come with generated corner elements that are supported in version CC (or higher). Corner elements are not included in the CS6 version of our .ai files.
FILE FORMATS
Each of the 20 brush designs comes in separate files as follows:
AI (CC & CS6) – fully editable:
global color swatches;
2 pattern brushes (colored with background; transparent b&w);
border tile design (the geometry of the brush) in 1 colored & 1 b&w version;
EPS-10 – a single border tile; 1 color version (with background); 1 b&w version (transparent);
EPS-CC – tiled border (applied pattern brush, several repetitions) in 1 color (with background), & 1 b&w (transparent) versions;
PSD – tiled border (several repetitions), separate layer for each color; 300 dpi, 800 px in height;
PNG – tiled border (several repetitions) in 1 color (with background), & 1 b&w (transparent) versions; 300 dpi, 800 px in height.
