Hey my friends, welcome to my One Brush Wonder Watercolour brush set for beginners.
My aim with this mini set of brushes is to give you an easy introduction into digital watercolour in Procreate. I bring you a brush set that I think is simple to use, it needs no fancy canvas, no layers (apart from if you wish to add white highlights), & with one stroke you can create beautiful watercolour art really simply. I spent a whole 3 months perfecting this brush set & creating different art with it, I wanted to make sure it was perfect & as simple to use as I could possibly make it. (you can see my art with this brush on my instagram account @sketchwerx).
I will be creating tutorials with this brush set to help you on your way, I also added a quick one in the product images, but in the mean time, just get a feel for this brush by having a little play around with different pressures & what they do.
Tips:
1. Try to keep the Apple Pencil in contact with the screen until you have finished painting your shape or area. This will create a more realistic watercolour effect. By adding pressure to your pencil when painting, you will be able to change the flow of the paint, for example, lighter pressure creates lighter washes & heavy pressure creates darker areas within your stroke. 2.Stamp your paper texture first, resize to fit your canvas. Add a new layer beneath your texture layer, & then start your painting on this layer.
