I started creating Lawless over a year ago, drawing it directly into adobe illustrator. I never finished it owing to the fact that I accidentally deleted the file.
Yes, it did make me want to punch myself in the face—repeatedly. I was so pissed I canned the project..
Until now.
I resurrected the idea but took it in a slightly different direction. Rather than uber clean lines, I decided to draw it with a pencil. Then let illustrator take the strain converting it to a font.
Inspired by the early American wood type of the 1800’s. It’s bold & brash & is the ideal typeface to get that vintage wild west look & feel.
Lawless comes in 4 different styles Regular, Grunge, Spur & Shadow. Easily mix & match them to get the look you’re after.

If this font was a celebrity it would be more Clint Eastwood than Eminem.
