Easy Navigation is a starting point for developing a responsive WordPress navigation. This isn’t a plugin or a full theme. It’s a starting point to get you developing your own themes faster.
Quick setup
Drop the easy-navigation folder into your theme folder.
Include the site-header-functions.php file in your theme’s functions.php file using the following code: require get_template_directory() . ‘/easy-navigation/site-header-functions.php’;
Include `site-header.php` template-part where you want to display your menu (likely header.php) using the following code: ?php get_template_part(‘easy-navigation/site-header’); ?
Set Colors
The nv-site-header class can be used to set the background color for the header. Simply replace the background CSS rules with your choice of color via CSS or SASS. Pro tip: Try grabbing a gradient from [Grabient](https://grabient.com)
Callout Button
Add the class nv-callout to menu items to create a callout style that draws attention to that specific button.
Search button
Add class js-open-site-search to menu items to have the button fire JavaScript to display the site search dropdown.
Links with no underline
Add class `nv-no-underline` to menu items if you’d like to remove the hover underline on certain links.
